Our Mission
We are developing The Media Program to provide an outlet for Vermont youth. The Program will educate individuals on current technologies, and help them to learn about new outlets for business, personal, and individual growth. This site plans to include a resource center, local business internship opportunities, community program listings, a platform to foster small businesses, and work towards individuals becoming more involved in local government.
Opportunities will include career preparation, new media, kid's business opportunities & successes, issues facing kids in; business, pre-business, balance of life, life skills, and stress management.
Literally, mobile media!
An opportunity has presented itself that could allow The802.com the ability to provide a "mobile media classroom". Efforts are underway to structure a program that would allow for classes to be set up throughout local communities all throughout Vermont by means of a "floating instructor". Equipment could easily be transported to different locations in an effort to provide these tutorials to youth all over the great state of Vermont, without requiring additional transportation restrictions on local youth.
